Important tips for evaporative cooling system

1. Cooling pad surface area must match fan capacity at a proper ratio to ensure airspeed at pads is less than 2 mps.

2. Pads with 30°/60° design must install in the right direction. 30° face inside the house and 60° faces outside the house. For pads with 45°/45° design, no installation direction is required.
3. Install wire mesh on the pads to prevent rat or other pest from damaging the pads.

4. Never overrun the pump on pads in high humid weather.

5. Discharge certain amount of recycle water regularly to delute the mineral contents in the water in order not to affect the cooling efficiency.

6. Wash pads with clean water and remove dust after every flock cycle.

  1. Hi all,

An evaporative cooling system is disclosed. The system includes a housing including a metal base sheet and a metal side wall and having at least one opening fitted with an evaporative medium pad and an exhaust vent. A pump is configured to disperse water over the evaporative medium pad. A pan is configured to receive the water. Thanks.....
